Pumpkin heads by Rainbow Rowell

Pumpkin heads by Rainbow Rowell is a very cute love story that's also a graphic novel. Deja and Josiah is headed to their last Halloween season at pumpkin patch because they will soon be seniors and will no longer be able to work at the patch from next year.


So this last day at the patch they skip their duties to enjoy the day. Josiah has been having a crush on a girl named Marcy for the last few years. Deja who feels that love for another person should go beyond being smitten by appearence, pushes Josiah to confront Marcy on their last day. What follows is one hell of a journey through the place because they can't seem to find Marcy anywhere.


I loved Deja. She is unapologetically herself. While Josiah believes it's fate that leads us, Deja believes only in her choices.


I absolutely loved this book for the picturesque ambience it creates with the illustrations. The patch looked beautiful, I could literally smell their popcorns, caramel apples and pumpkin bombs. Graphic novels represent a world in themselves.
