Durga writes to her father

Devdutt pattanaik needs no introduction and I have been following him since sometime now. I love his show that comes in Epic channel with illustrations and that lead me to his books.

Known for simplifying and explaining mythology in layman's terms , Pattanaik bares it out for us to make inferences after telling out the facts.

This is a 12 page letter by Durga to her father. A satire that highlights the hypocrisy underneath the so called progressive times we are living. Even though it's just a 12 page read, it requires pause and contemplation to sink in. Atleast for me it did.

It gives a deeper understanding on who Durga is and what she represents. Hence this letter is important and her voice needs to be heard.

Favourite quote : "Generosity is the measure of contentment".
