Anne with an 'E'-Netflix show review

Such a weird name for a Netflix series. But names could be deceiving just like appearances. It's the story about Anne who is an orphan. She grows up in different foster homes at the mercy of people who treat her like a trash. It's difficult to like her as she could easily be perceived as an enigma. I loved everything about her. Sometimes fictional characters rekindle the spark in you.The warmth she carries within is untouched and uncorroded even after years of abuse and suffering. Anne is mostly in the company of books because it helps her to escape reality. She enjoys living in imagination. She knows lines from Jane Eyre byheart and proudly spills the philosophical thoughts from the book as the ultimate gospel. She never attended school but her impressive vocabulary ,skill at poetry and drama is appreciated by people who understands it ,while others just consider her an outcast. In another part of the world is a place called Green Gables ,there is Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert who are getting old and looking for adoption .Marilla and Mathew Cuthbert are siblings who lost their chance to live their own lives due to a past tragedy. Green Gables is a beautiful countryside place with lush greenery and everything about the sun, sand and sky there ,is a visual treat. The adoption by the Cuthbert' changes Anne's life forever. She is completely mesmerized by the beauty of Green Gables. Anne is adopted as a help. Soon they are smitten by Anne's intelligence and knowledge. They adopt her as a Cuthbert. The Cuthbert's,having had absolutely no one to tend to ,other than each other ,they clearly seem to have forgotten expressions of love . Marilla is obstinate but she is like the soft grass hiding behind a hard rock. Mathew is reticent and gullible. The duo's screen presence and endearing expressions behind the unspoken words gives us some unforgettable moments. As Anne gets a chance to start over her life in Green Gables, grief strikes her as she tries to fit in a society which keeps reminding her that she is an orphan and will always be one. The Cuthberts try their best to protect her.Much of the series is about how she mends her ways and makes her path to people's lives. Her free and indomitable spirit captivates everyone around her, that it's hard to resist this series which is like a delicious food for the soul .The series is based on the Novel "Anne of Green Gables". I never read any review about this show before. I am happy that I stumbled upon this one as I kept searching for something that is not dark or gory. All of us have darkness within us and how this helps to build our resilience is something I learned from their lives. Eagerly waiting for Season 3.
